Jill Sapiente was first introduced to painting at an early age. Having artistic parents, she was surrounded by creatives. Always thinking outside the box, she was looking for new ways to express what she saw. At the time a career in the arts was a priority but life took another path. Now that she re-emerged as an artist, she paints almost every day, inspired by her surroundings an living with her hubby in Niagara.

Artist Statement
Finding joy in the beauty of my environment has always been a life pleasure. Living in Niagara has given me an abundance of inspiration. ‘Flowers and Trees Abstracted’ would best describe my body of work. Using expressive colour, enhancing the angle, creating an almost ethereal feeling. Taking these elements and piecing them back together for the end result.
This is my ‘mind vision’, this is my journey.
